Vibra Tite VC-3 Threadmate is a powerful locking and sealing coating for threaded fasteners of any shape or size that prevents loosening due to shock and vibration. Unlike traditional threadlockers, VC-3 Threadmate will not harden. This truly unique formula is designed for use on external and internal threads of virtually any material or finish including both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, most platings, wood and plastic screws. Using steady pressure and standard hand tools, parts coated with Vibra-Tite VC-3 can be easily adjusted, removed and reused. Since VC-3 remains a thick, resilient, viscous resin, its cold flow properties actually minimize galling or stripping of soft threads during reuse. Unlike anaerobics, Threadmate can be air dried and even installed into mating parts under both fresh and salt water. Pre-cleaning is not required except for wiping off any visible oil, grease or dirt for optimal performance. Coated parts are ready for assembly in just a few minutes or can be stores indefinitely prior to use.
