Vibra Tite VC 3 Threadmate is a unique acrylic polymer threadlocker that is designed to remain flexible and absorb vibration, preventing fastener rotation and the loss of clamp force. Unlike anaerobic threadlockers, Threadmate will not harden, resulting in VC-3 coated fasteners of any size or shape that are truly adjustable, removable and reusable. Since Vibra-Tite VC-3 remains a thick, resilient, viscous resin, its cold flow properties actually minimize galling or stripping of soft threads during reuse. Exceptionally versatile, Vibra-Tite Threadlocker adheres to both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, most platings, wood and plastic screws. Ideal for a multitude of applications including underwater installation, Vibra-Tite Formula 3 can be air dried and then installed into a mating part under both fresh and salt water. Parts coated with VC-3 are ready for assembly in just a matter of minutes or can be stored indefinitely before use.
