Schaeffer #229, Ultra Red Supreme, is a multi-purpose extreme pressure grease that is ideal for use in all types of heavy-duty automotive, construction, mining, farming and industrial equipment. This versatile, para-synthetic grease is blended with an aluminum complex base thickener that protects equipment under the most adverse conditions including heat, cold, moisture and high and low speeds. Formulated with anti-wear, rust and oxidative additives, Ultra Red Supreme provides excellent pumpability characteristics for use in centralized lube system, shear and mechanical stability, water resistance. and reversibility. The superior adhesive and cohesive properties of Schaeffer #229 ensures that it will not wash out, pound out, splatter or squeeze out even under the heaviest loads or vibrations. Not recommended for use in passenger car automotive wheel bearing or in electric motor bearing applications.
