Schaeffer Carbon Treat Premium Winter is a multi-functional, ultra-low sulfur compliant diesel fuel additive formulated to prevent and control the formation of asphaltenes and other unstable compounds caused by extreme pressure and temperature encountered in high pressure common rail fuel injection systems. The formation of such compounds can lead to the formation of deposits which plug fuel filters and fuel injectors leading to decreased engine performance. Carbon Treat Winter Premium contains a highly concentrated additive package that, when used at the recommended treatment ratio, provides cold temperature protection against fuel gelling, waxing and fuel line freeze-up, improved fuel efficiency, rust and corrosion protection to the entire fuel system, improved cetane ratings and excellent anti-wear protection for injectors and pumps. Best of all, this superior winter fuel additive provides three times the detergency needed for clean-up and "keep clean" performance as proven by the Peugeot DW-10 Injector Depositing Test.
