Schaeffer #260 Perma Moly (NLGI #2) is an extreme pressure grease formulated for exceptional performance in industrial bearings and machinery operating under heavy loads and in high temperatures. Made from solvent refined, severely hydrofinished 100% paraffin base stocks with a high viscosity index, Perma Moly quickly plates to metal surfaces creating a fine but durable lubricant film that lasts longer than conventional greases. This solid lubricant fill will withstand pressures up to 500,000 pounds per square inch, thus giving metal surfaces of the bearings the protection they need during periods of high speed, high shock load, and extreme pressure. An excellent rust and oxidation inhibitor, Perma Moly EP also boasts good mechanical stability, water resistance, and adhesive properties that prevent it from being washed, pounded, splattered, or squeezed out. Schaeffer 260 can be applied either manually or by a heavy duty automatic lube system.
