Vibra-Tite 131 is a permanent strength, anaerobic thread locking compound specially formulated to withstand shocks and vibrations that can cause fasteners to loosen over time. Vibra-Tite 131 boasts red thread lock strength, meaning that a large amount of torque, and/or heat, is required to break its strong adhesive bond. This anaerobic sealant will lock and seal fasteners up to 1" in diameter and perform well on aluminum, steel, plated, stainless steel and special alloy parts. Not recommended for use on plastics as stress cracking can occur.
