Staybond

Staybond metal adhesive products lock fasteners, hold parts in place, seal joints and fittings, and fill pores in castings and powdered metal parts. They seal and lock metal components such as screws, nuts, studs, and retaining devices, and they replace metal fasteners.

Staybond metal adhesive products remain liquid as long as they’re exposed to air. Only after application on metal components and assemblies, in the absence of air does the polymerization process begin and bonding occurs. Material remaining on the surface exposed to air, of course remains liquid and can be wiped away.

THREADLOCKING PRODUCTS
Staybond adhesives protect against loosening from shock and vibration and assist in the prevention of overtightening and threadstripping. Available in 6 grades varying by strength, viscosity and cure speed.

RETAINING PRODUCTS
These compounds are single-component materials for cylindrical part bonding of shafts, hubs, housings, bearings, bushings, splines, sleeves and pulleys. Available in 3 grades.

SEALING PRODUCTS
Staybond sealing products provide a tough positive seal to prevent leakage caused by vibration, temperature cycling, and extreme pressure. Joints sealed with Staybond sealing products will not leak or weep, even if threads are nicked or damaged. Available in 5 grades for individual applications.
