Jaco Firestop

Jaco Firestop is a commercial quality, Intumescent, non-combustible Fire, Smoke and Draft stopping sealant, rated for 3000 degrees F for 8 hours. UL Classified ASTM-E136. It is used for commercial, industrial and residential applications. Applications include through penetrations for Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Construction voids around chimneys and masonry.

Firestop has excellent adhesion properties. Bonds to most building materials including, ceramics, composites, masonry, metal, plastic and wood.If forms a pressure tight, water resistant joint that will prevent the spread of fire and seal against the infiltration of smoke and toxic gases.

Easily applied with manual or power caulking equimpment, putty knife or trowel.
